This was the former Ada Hope, one of the 6 daughters of Thomas and Ellen Hope of Brown Rigg, Kirklinton. Moira died of rheumatic fever. She was their only child.
Joseph George Scott died in the 'flu epidemic of 1918. He was the brother of Isaac Scott, the husband of Clara Hope.

The graves of Walter Graham, and his son-in-law, Thomas Andrew Beattie, are side by side in Plumpton churchyard. Tom was the husband of Nora Annie Graham. He died very suddenly, of a heart attack, in the farm-yard at Scratchmere Scar.
